Who we are
Blue Archmage LLC is a Florida limited liability company ("Blue Archmage", "we", "us" or "our"). We build and operate private companies and the internal software that runs them. You can reach us at support@bluearchmage.us.
Scope of this policy
This policy covers:
- this website, bluearchmage.us (the "Site"); and
- Blue Archmage's internal software, including its YouTube integration used to operate the Declassified Visualized channel (together, the "Services").
Portfolio companies, such as CappingAlpha, have their own privacy policies that govern their products and websites. This policy does not apply to them.
Information this website collects
The Site is a static website. It has no accounts, no forms, no cookies, no analytics and no advertising trackers. We do not run any third-party scripts on it.
Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes standard technical request data in order to deliver and secure the Site. This includes your IP address, browser user agent, the URL requested and the time of the request. We do not use this data to identify visitors.
If you email us, we receive what you send (your email address, the content of your message and any attachments) and use it only to reply to you and handle your request.
YouTube API Services and Google user data
Blue Archmage operates an internal application that is not offered to the public. It uses YouTube API Services, through Google OAuth, to manage Blue Archmage's own YouTube channel, Declassified Visualized. This section explains exactly what that application does with Google user data.
By using YouTube API Services, Blue Archmage agrees to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of your data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.

What data is accessed
The application accesses only data about the Declassified Visualized channel itself: its videos, metadata, captions, thumbnails, playlists, upload status, analytics reports and revenue reports. We do not access any other user's private data. Public data received from YouTube API Services (for example, public video statistics) is used only to operate and report on our own channel.
How the data is used
Data obtained through YouTube API Services is used only to upload and manage videos and to read analytics on our own channel, at the direction of the channel owner. Nothing is published to the channel without a person approving it first.
Storage and security
OAuth tokens and any data retrieved through the API are stored locally on Blue Archmage's own secured computer. That storage is encrypted at rest through the operating system and is accessible only to Blue Archmage. We do not store this data on third-party servers.
Sharing
We do not sell, rent, share or transfer Google user data to anyone. Our own internal tools, which can include software services that process data only on our instructions (for example, to summarize the channel's own analytics for the channel owner), may handle it solely to provide the functions described in this policy and under terms that do not allow them to use it for their own purposes. We do not use it for advertising purposes. We do not use it to train generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models. We do not allow humans to read this data except as needed for security purposes, to comply with applicable law, or with the explicit consent of the account owner, consistent with Google's policies.
Limited Use disclosure
Blue Archmage's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Cookies and devices
The internal application does not place or read cookies or similar technologies on any third party's device. The Site does not set cookies either.
Retention and deletion
- Authorized API data is kept only as long as needed to operate the channel.
- Analytics data stored locally is refreshed or deleted within 30 days, in line with YouTube API Services policies, unless it is fetched again.
- OAuth tokens are deleted when access is revoked or when the integration is retired.
- The account owner can revoke the application's access at any time through Google security settings. After we learn of a revocation, we delete the stored tokens and the associated data within 7 days.
- Deletion requests can be sent to support@bluearchmage.us.
How we use information
We use the limited information described above to operate, secure and improve the Site and the Services, to communicate with people who contact us, to operate our own YouTube channel, and to comply with legal obligations. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
Data retention
Website request logs are retained by Cloudflare according to its standard practices; we do not keep separate copies. Emails you send us are kept as long as needed to handle the matter and for a reasonable period afterwards for record keeping, after which they are deleted. Retention for YouTube API data is described in the section above.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To make a request, email support@bluearchmage.us. We will verify the request as needed and respond within a reasonable time, generally within 30 days. You will not be treated differently for exercising these rights.
Children
The Site and the Services are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we hold, including local-first storage, operating system encryption at rest, limited access and approval gates on outbound actions. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
International visitors
Blue Archmage is based in the United States, and information we hold is processed and stored in the United States. If you visit the Site or contact us from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those of your country.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the Site or the Services after a change means you accept the updated policy.
